With the blessing of His Eminence Metropolitan Hilarion, First Hierarch of the Russian Church Abroad, The Divine Liturgy is celebrated at St. Sergius of Radonezh Orthodox Church Sargodha Pakistan.
Today, the preaching was done about “The Holy Apostle and Evangelist Matthew”. Fr. Joseph Farooq told the faithful how we hear and give respond to the voice of Jesus our Lord and God in our daily life and follow Jesus as Saint Matthew in hearing the voice of Jesus Christ: “Come, follow Me” (Mt. 9: 9) left off from his duties and followed the Saviour. He together with the other apostles he followed Christ and followed the instructions of His Divine Teacher.
Fr. Joseph Farooq preached the faithful about Jesus Christ the real Messiah as the Gospel according to Saint Matthew manifests and proof that Jesus Christ is the REAL MESSIAH and it is very important for the orthodox Christians in Pakistan and Middle East who are suffering and being persecuted to know and follow the real Messiah who is only the way of salvation, hope and life for all of us.
