Sermon: After the Divine Liturgy Fr. Joseph preached about the ascetic life of our venerable Blessed Father Saint Sergius. Father Joseph told the faithful that St. Sergius teaches us hard labour, self-deprivation, humility, simplicity, obedience and patience in all circumstances and when we face hard times hunger, chaos and sufferings in our lives, we all are saved through the powerful intercessions of Saint Sergius.

Veneration: Help from After the sermon, people were given time to light their candles that they brought along with them in front of the icon of St. Sergius. . They were instructed to ask for the help from St. Sergius, for their problems, any family sickness and for the blessings of their Orthodox faith. This is worth mentioning that Pakistani orthodox faithful have special association and love for Saint Sergius and Saint Sergius had his vision in the dream of a few faithful and some faithful have testimony that they were healed through his powerful prayers.

Intercession: Saint Sergius of Radonezh prays for everyone! Every day I ask God to hear my supplication so that Orthodox Faith may grow in the hearts of every Christian in Pakistan through the intercession of the blessed father Sergius. May Saint Sergius of Radonezh help us to bring peace, love and human harmony in Pakistan and around the world!! Amen
